Push to your Desired Arena in Clash Royale without using any Legendary Troops

Clash Royale Strategies No Legendary Cards

Are you one of the unlucky ones who ended up with the most dismal Legendary cards that Clash Royale has to offer? Do you wish that you had bagged the Graveyard or the Lavahound? Wishes don’t always come true, especially not in this unpredictable world of Clash Royale. All you can do is grow past this streak of bad luck and develop a deck that can take you where all the action lies.

You may have tried to build an imposing deck, failed, and tried again; but to no avail. However, you do not need to get into a dither. We have carefully analyzed all the gaming arenas and come up with 3 no-legendary card decks that will help you amass the required number of trophies.

The Elite Gang Dragon Deck:

The Baby Dragon is not only a popular card among Clash Royale enthusiasts but also quite an effective one. It can work as a highly efficient tank for your support troops. The other tank in your repertoire will be the Elite Barbarians. And given the exceptionally low Average Elixir Cost of this deck – a meager 3.5 – you can use it to push both sides of the arena. If used correctly, this deck can take you to Arena 9 and beyond!

Elite Gang Deck No Legendary Decks

  • Elite Barbarians
  • Goblin Gang
  • Baby Dragon
  • Tornado
  • Skeleton Army
  • Mega Minion
  • Zap
  • Musketeer

After you reach maximum elixir at the start of the battle, you do not need to wait for your opponent to make the first move. Drop your Baby Dragon near the King Tower and patiently watch as it makes its way toward the bridge. If the opponent deploys counter troops on the same side of the arena, drop your support troops. Those could either be the Musketeer, Goblin Gang, or Mega Minion.

You can counter any attacking troops on the other side of the arena with your Skeleton Army. The Tornado card is mainly used for defense. Under rare circumstances where your offense is overwhelmed by the opponent’s defense, deploy the Tornado immediately.
You may use the Elite Barbarians in conjunction with the Baby Dragon. Alternatively, you can deploy those to target the second tower along with a support troop or two. This split deployment could only be possible at the time of double elixir. So, await your chance and defend efficiently till the time comes.

The Basic yet Handy Deck:

This deck is probably the most basic deck in Clash Royale. Almost every CR blogger recommends this one for pushing trophies in the lower arenas. Did you know that you can use it to push in higher arenas as well? All it requires is a change in strategy. Immense patience is needed to execute this combo properly in the higher arenas. This deck will take you to Arena 8 and beyond.

GiBarch Deck No Legendary Decks

  • Giant
  • Barbarians
  • Valkyrie
  • Minion Horde
  • Wizard
  • Goblins
  • Fireball
  • Arrows

Air attacks or ground ones, bring ‘em on! All you need to do is defend, and defend good. The primary criterion is that you wait for the opponent to attack first. In the initial stages of the battle, defense should be your priority. If you feel that you have defended your tower well and are left with a few troops, don’t hesitate to counter attack. Your opponent would obviously have exhausted most of his/her elixir, so you are bound to win the first duel.

Your main defensive troops, apart from the spells, would include the Minion Horde, Valkyrie, Wizard, and Goblins. Heck, you can even use the Giant for defending your mini tower. Near the end of the battle, your Giant and Wizard combo will prove to be the main offensive one. At times, even the traditional Barbarians+Minion Horde mix would work. As long as you commence your attacking strategy during the double elixir period, you would stand a better chance of winning the battle than any Legendary card infused deck out there.

The Age-Old Royal Giant Combo

Oh yeah, it has been ages since the Royal Giant was used in the higher arenas. And therein lies your advantage! Nobody expects this troop’s daunting presence in Arena 7 and above. They would prepare themselves for a formidable duel against a couple or three Legendaries, and even the Graveyard for that matter; but they would never think twice about facing off against the Royal Giant. While there are innumerable Royal Giant combos out there, we would recommend this one to reach Arena 8 and beyond.

Royal Giant Basic Deck No Legendary Decks

  • Royal Giant
  • Elixir Collector
  • Barbarians
  • Fireball
  • Cannon
  • Minions
  • Zap
  • Spear Goblins

This one is again a defense heavy deck. Drop the Elixir Collector as soon as you get it. Don’t reveal your Royal Giant in the initial stages. Give your opponent a false sense of security by deploying Barbarians followed by Spear Goblins. Thus, you will still have some elixir left for defending with Cannon or Minions. The spells will obviously be used for defense in the earlier part of the battle.

As soon as you reach the double elixir stage, deploy the Royal Giant followed by Spear Goblins and Minions. This late deployment will definitely baffle your opponent and leave him/her in shambles regarding their defensive strategy.

These are just a few ideas to help you get through the competitive world of Clash Royale without the most popular Legendary cards in the game. Do you have any more such decks to share? Let us know in the comments!
